About Asp Photography

My photography journey began in 2009 when I bought my first DSLR camera. What started as a curiosity quickly became a lifelong hobby, and over the years I’ve spent countless hours learning, practicing, and exploring the craft. Today, I mainly photograph with a Sony A1 and occasionally capture drone photos with my DJI Mini 4 Pro.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, when travelling became difficult, I turned my attention closer to home. That was when wildlife photography truly caught my interest. I began exploring forests, coastlines, wetlands, and fields across Denmark, looking for opportunities to photograph animals in their natural surroundings. What started as a way to keep photographing soon became the focus of my work.

In 2023, I founded Asp Photography as a semi-professional venture alongside my full-time career. Since then, I’ve had the opportunity to work with fellow photographers, local organisations, and businesses on a range of photographic projects.

I spend much of my time between Bornholm and Zealand, two places that continue to offer new subjects and experiences behind the lens. While birds and wildlife remain my primary focus, I enjoy photographing a wide variety of subjects whenever a compelling scene presents itself.
